Who We Are

Lemont 113a offers a wide variety of extracurricular programming to meet the needs of the students attending Old Quarry. We believe participation in extra-curricula activities enhances the student's experience while at Old Quarry Middle School.  All students are encouraged to participate in clubs and sports.

Each sport and club is listed on the left as well as how to register to participate in each activity

Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A follows the guidelines set forth by the IESA (Illinois Elementary School Association) which states that per code 3.061, "No student shall be permitted to compete in a tryout, practice, or game, unless such student has filed with the school principal a certificate of physical fitness issued by a licensed physician, physician's assistant, or nurse practitioner as set forth in the Illinois State Statutes not more than 395 days preceding such tryout, practice, or contest in any athletic activity."

Sports Physicals are valid for 395 days from the date of the exam. If the physical expires during a sports season that your student is participating in, a new physical must be filed with the Nurse's office. Depending on the date of the exam, we may accept a current 6th grade physical as a sports physical. If your child is in 5th, 7th, or 8th grade they will require a sports physical. If you are unsure of the last exam date we have on file for your child, please check with the school nurse.

Transportation home from all after-school activities is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
