SPORTSMANSHIP CREED

Tonight we the students of the Northwest Upstate Illini Conference would like to extend a warm welcome to our friends from (VISITING SCHOOL).

                                            We’d like you to remember that we are not only athletes, but also sons and daughters.  Remember that the NUIC is promoting positive sportsmanship, so we ask everyone to cooperate by following the NUIC Sportsmanship creed that the students created.

We strive to promote sportsmanship and respect in athletics, arts, and academics, and to display modesty in victory and graciousness in defeat.

Let the players play, the coach’s coach and the officials officiate.
