Who We Are
"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever."
Our Sports Philosophy:
At Calvary Christian School, the philosophy of athletics is rooted in the truth of Scripture and the pursuit of excellence for the glory of God. Guided by1 Corinthians 9:24–25, we believe athletics provide a powerful opportunity to teach student-athletes the value of discipline, perseverance, focus, and intentional preparation. Just as athletes train with dedication to compete for a temporary crown, we encourage our students to pursue an eternal purpose through Christ-centered competition, character, and commitment. Participation in athletics is not only about winning games, but about developing young men and women who honor God through their effort, attitude, teamwork, and integrity both on and off the field.
Our athletic program is committed to developing the whole student-athlete spiritually, mentally, physically, and relationally. We believe success is achieved through consistent training, self-discipline, accountability, and a willingness to sacrifice for the good of the team. Coaches are called to model Christ-like leadership while challenging athletes to compete with excellence, humility, and determination. Through every practice, competition, victory, and adversity, Calvary Christian School seeks to cultivate leaders who are prepared to impact their communities for Christ and pursue excellence in every area of life.
