Who We Are

The Putnam County Community Unit School District #535 serves approximately 725 students with a variety of academic and athletic programs designed to meet the challenging needs of our students.  Putnam County is a thriving community in the Illinois Valley section of North Central Illinois.  Located approximately 100 miles southwest of Chicago, the area provides the best of small community living with easy access to city resources.  Rockford, Quad Cities, Bloomington, and Peoria are all within a one hour drive of the Putnam County area.
