Directions to Phillips:
From I-40: Take Exit 266 (Hwy. 86). If on I-40 W, turn left off of the exit ramp; if on I-40 E, turn right off of the exit ramp. Travel for approx. 3 miles. You'll cross Weaver Dairy Rd., you'll pass Homestead Rd. on the right. Go to the 3rd light after Homestead, & turn left onto Estes Drive. Phillips Middle School is approximately 1/2 mile on the left. You'll see the School Zone sign. The first driveway (at the left turn lane) will lead you to the tennis courts and the baseball/softball field. Continue driving past the school & take the next driveway on the left (bus lot) to get to the gym, stadium, & track.
From 15-501 : Traveling on 15-501 from Durham, toward Chapel Hill, take the Franklin St. fork to the right (where Franklin St. & 15-501 split in Chapel Hill). Go to the 3rd stop light & turn right onto Estes Drive. (There's a BP gas station on the left & a Texaco on the right.) You'll pass the Chapel Hill Public Library on the right, then you'll pass several houses on each side of the road. When you come to the light, you'll be at Estes Hills Elementary School. The first driveway you come to past the elementary school is the bus lot to Phillips. You can park here for the gym, stadium & track. Go to the next driveway on the right for the tennis courts and baseball/softball field.
