Who We Are
Bremen High School is located in Midlothian, Illinois, approximately 20 miles south of Chicago and is one of four high schools comprising Bremen High School District 228. The 1,350 students at Bremen High School come from the villages of Midlothian, Posen, Markham and Harvey, Illinois.
As the flag ship school in District 228, established in September 1953, we are proud to say that we make a positive difference in our community. With a rich tradition of academics, activities and athletics the entire Bremen community works very hard to assist all students to reach their full potential while in school. With the great educational opportunities within Bremen our students graduate with a well-rounded experience that allows for future success. We are proud to say that 64 graduates have been inducted into the Hall of Fame based on their accomplishments after graduation.
Parent involvement and community support is key to the success of all students and is promoted within Bremen High School. With the inception of the Parent Involvement Group in 2007, we have taken a positive step in involving parents in the education of their children. In addition, this group has taken on the responsibility of running the Bremen Silent Auction. The inaugural auction was held in September 2008. This event raised over $11,000 which was used for student scholarships and other student incentives. Parents and community members are always welcome at Bremen High School as together we make a positive difference in our school and community!
At Bremen High School, we are fortunate to have an outstanding teaching and support staff that is supported by a dedicated administrative team. The goal of each member of our staff is to assist our students to reach their full potential while assisting them to be productive members of society. By working to develop positive relationships with our student body, we are able to provide the type of experiences that are necessary for student success. Bremen High School is a school that embraces its diversity and helps students to understand different views which allow us all to be stronger individuals.
We are a school that will continue to assist the communities we serve in developing positive, productive and successful students.
